Malalo has been a big part of YPDO since its beginning. That is because YPDO and Malalo creators have always been related to sport and decided to use it as a means to transform the lives of the young in need.

 

Malalo, in the local language, means “bridge”, which is all about the action that has been done by this initiative. It is about creating a space where all the children and young feel empowered, motivated, and reached.

 

Nowadays, Malalalo’s work is destined, also, to promoting important campaigns among the young, as the no sexual abuse campaign and the sexual disease prevention campaign, two serious problems suffered by the local community.
