OUR HISTORY
YPDO’s consolidation occurred in 2003, with the higher goal of offering support to the poor communities of Chililabombwe, focusing on groups of young and other vulnerable social groups, as homeless families.
The assisted communities, mainly the young of these communities, face a hard reality marked by the abandonment, the homeless status, and the malnutrition, becoming easy prey to the criminality.
Chililabombwe, the base city of YPDO, has on average 100.000 inhabitants and has, as major economic support, two bases: the coopering industry, that employs around 2.000 people, and agriculture, on a minor scale.
